OFFICE OF USE™

“Use” is the meeting point between people and objects. It’s not just about what something does, but how it invites interaction—the gestures, choices, and experiences that unfold around it. A well-designed object doesn’t only fulfill a function, it also reflects culture and context. The ways people adopt, adapt, or even repurpose objects tell stories about values, habits, and community.

The Muri collection represents a collaboration between contemporary sensibility and artisanal Rwandan craft. Developed in three sizes, the forms can be used with tea lights in indoor or outdoor dining settings or, as wired lamps for residential and commercial hospitality use. To create the delicate palm-woven shade, an innovative approach was used, substituting the original bamboo structural rings with steel wire. This allowed for more minor knots to be woven with the palm strands, thereby creating a more refined look.
